Murray Loubser and Darren Oatley decided to have a quick session at Durbanville skatepark before heading onto the next spot of the day. They brought out the GoPro & Gimbal and filmed some tricks called out for each other.

16 Years old, slaying the streets of Cape Town. We introduce our young shredder, Safwaan Cook !
We are super stoked to have Safwaan part of the DL family and excited to see where Bmx is going to take him.
Safwaan also got picked up by a Austrian Non Profit organisation who supports outstanding talents and their dreams called “Bloodsister“. Head over to their page to get to know him better and stay tuned for the latest introduction video about him and his lifestyle.
The Bloodsister organisation will also be promoting the SA Bmx scene on their media platforms.
Follow @bloodsister_foundation on Instagram for regular updates about Safwaan.

Daylife Bmx will be hosting a session every first Sunday of each new month at a different location. The goal with this is to get more people into riding and just have a good time with everyone. This is not a jam or a comp. Anyone is welcome to come ride and hang out.

Our DL rider Dean Bailey decided to part ways and take things a little easier to focus on his career and ride on his own terms. From the rest of the DL Crew we thank him for all the good times, chills and input along the years as well for pushing the riding scene in South Africa. It’s been a great pleasure and treat from all of us hanging with you. Cheers for the good times and we wish him the best for all his future plans. Dean will always remain part of our family and will surely be missed on our missions.
Murray’s signature DL frame will be available soon after over a year of riding and prototyping. His frame will be available in 20,85″ and 21,15″ in the colour option of black, yellow and turquoise with a headtube angle of 75.25 and a back-end of 13,3″ to 13,6″. The BB height is at 11,8″ with a standover of 8,8″.
The back-end will also be wide enough for modern 2,5″ tyres and easy fitment for two hubguards without having to battle getting the back wheel in.
The BB is also internally machined with a rib in the centre to prevent the shell from denting. On top of that the frame comes with African inspired graphics.
Manufactured in Cape Town South Africa from 4130 Seamless American grade chromoly.
